The KDX 200 is an intermediate off-road enduro introduced in 1983 as the successor to the KDX 175. Its extra capacity came from a longer stroke, and it used Kawasaki's KIPS powervalve system to improve mid-range and top-end power. It was built as a dedicated off-road machine with a reed-valve two-stroke, kick start and long-travel suspension.
